MIDLAND COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - Midland County begins their first phase of the County’s Mill and Fill project.

According to Midland County, the first phase of their recovery project has begun.

This requires a road closure of W. Francis Ave., between E. industrial loop and S. Garfield Street.

The work is part of the County’s Mill and Fill project, which will fix about three miles of roadway in the area south of Highway 80 and north of I-20, about two miles southwest of downtown Midland.

The project will include replacing the pavement.

The entire project will take around two months to complete.

Drivers should plan to use alternate routes and take caution around construction crews and equipment.
