Coahoma Bulldogettes aim for 4th straight softball state title
COAHOMA, Texas (KOSA) - The Coahoma Bulldogettes are nothing short of a softball dynasty.
After taking down the Grand Saline Lady Indians 13-3 on Saturday, May 23, Coahoma booked its ticket to the state championship game for a fifth consecutive season.
Addi Hart was one of the stars of the show, driving in four runs. She hit a three-run home run in the fifth inning.
Prior to the state semifinal, Hart said, “Don’t give up now. That’s what we’re keeping in the back of our minds, that we’re not going to give up now. We’re one game away, and we’ve never given up in the last four years.”
The Bulldogettes look to make Texas high school softball history again by winning a fourth straight state championship.
They won their third straight state title in 2025, becoming the first to achieve that. It was matched one day later by Corpus Christi Callalen.
In 2025, Coahoma also took over the longest win streak in Texas high school softball history, posting a new record of 90 wins. The streak ended on May 24, 2025, in the state semifinal against S&S Consolidated.
Now, it’s time to add to the history books with another state championship, the fourth in a row.
