FINDING FAMILY: Meet Anelly

ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) -As America celebrates its 250th birthday this July Fourth, a girl in foster care will be celebrating her 13th.

Anelly has big plans for her future. She said she has to go to college first.

Her dream school is the University of Texas El Paso, where she wants to study music.

Music and activities fill her days

Anelly has a passion for the violin, flute and piano.

“It takes practice,” she said.

Practice is something Anelly knows well. She plays soccer, swims, dances and loves spending hours outside with friends.

“I can play with them, and i’m not alone,” she said.

Being alone is something no pre-teen wants.

Anelly said she would be happy and excited to get a family and have a bunch of fun with them.

Until she finds that forever family, Anelly’s faith keeps her strong. She said she has a favorite chapter of the Bible and likes the one about Noah and the ark.
