Cameron Carr declares for NBA draft

WACO, Texas (KWTX) - After much speculation Baylor redshirt sophomore guard Cameron Carr has officially declared for the NBA Draft.

Jonathan Givony was the first to report the news.

Carr has risen up draft boards after his stellar season that saw him go from relative unknown to potential first round pick.

After transferring from Tennessee mid-season in 2025, Carr redshirted and became a cornerstone piece for the Bears in 2025-26.

Carr averaged 18.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists and 1.3 blocks in 33.7 minutes per game for the Bears.
