Texas A&M OL Chase Bisontis to declare for 2026 NFL Draft
(KBTX) - Texas A&M junior offensive lineman Chase Bisontis will declare for the 2026 NFL Draft, foregoing his final year of college eligibility, he posted on his Instagram account Tuesday.
The 6-foot-5, 315-pound lineman was a three-year starter for the Aggies, tallying a total 1,962 snaps over that time period, according to Pro Football Focus. In 2025, he accumulated a career-high 795 snaps.
During his junior campaign, he recorded a career-high 70.7 pass blocking grade and a 62.7 run blocking grade, per PFF. His career-high run-blocking grade was 71.8 in 2024.
Bisontis was a two-time member of The Athletic’s “Freaks List,” which compiles the most athletic players across college football.
He was a 4-star recruit out of Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, N.J., as a part of the 2023 class.
Bisontis’ departure means A&M will lose all five of its starting offensive linemen over this offseason, with Mark Nabou Jr., Ar’maj Reed-Adams, Dametrious Crownover and Trey Zuhn III all departing from expired eligibility. Rotational linemen Reuben Fatheree II and Koli Faaiu are also out of eligibility.
The Aggies have begun the process of restocking the offensive line with a pair of transfers in South Carolina’s Trovon Baugh and LSU’s Coen Echols.
